This year I have found the temperature inside the Dome to be extremely cold. Members of the Barrie Lawn Bowling Club say that the temperature is supposed to be 60 degrees. This week it was 55 when I looked at the simple thermometer mounted on a coat rack in the centre of the Dome. Many of the members of the Lawn Bowling Club are in their late 70s and 80s, I am in my sixties and find that my fingers and toes are freezing by the end of 2 hours of play! I even wear extra thick socks! Several weeks ago I mentioned the cold to a staff member who said ”I guess we forgot to turn up the heat. I'll check” (this was after the Lawn Bowling was over). Lawn Bowling is played twice a week year around at the Dome - how can they forget? Completely unacceptable.
